If you’re planning an extended stay in Savannah, our plush, “Plaid,” cottage is a unique place to call home. Tucked away in a quiet, safe neighborhood just minutes away from Memorial Hospital and Savannah State University, the comforts of home – shopping, restaurants, parks – are close by, as is Savannah’s renowned historic district. Further afield, Savannah-Hilton Head International Airport is 30 minutes’ drive way, as is the nearest beach on Tybee Island.
Good to know
The cottage, built in 1938 has been recently renovated, and the furniture is new. It has many historic hallmarks: huge oak trees outside, draped with Spanish moss, a wide, screened-in back porch – used to cool the house in the days before air conditioning – and hardwood flooring. “Plaid cottage” has two bedrooms: one with a king-sized bed, and one with a double bed. There is a private office in the back of the house, with an executive chair and work desk. The Internet speeds are the fastest in the area. A small kitchen/dining area has all the home amenities of home. Pets are welcome–with some restrictions, see below. The backyard is fenced, with plenty of room for your pet to exercise. Savannah has many nice parks with opportunities for both humans and pets to exercise.
Other Details to Note
Parking area for up to five cars. This home rents for 30 nights or more. Starter supplies are provided, but guests will need to supply their own consumables such as toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, etc. Pet friendly: Dog Breeds NOT Allowed are Pit Bulls, Doberman Pinschers, Rottweilers, Chow Chows, Presa Canarios and Wolf Hybrids. Violators will be asked to vacate the property without any refund. Landlord is a license real estate agent in the State of Georgia.
